About

I am a Junior pursuing a B.S. in Astronomy, minor in physics, and B.A. in Arabic at the University of Arizona.

I currently work with Christa DeCoursey and Dr. Eiichi Egami to identify transients at high redshift, and with Dr. Tim Eifler to constrain cosmology with cosmic shear from the Roman Space Telescope (launch 2026). My main interests are in stellar evolutation, cosmology, and galactic evolution.
Previously, I conducted research at Brookhaven National Laboratory's National Synchrotron Light Source-II with Dr. Dean Hidas to fit linear, exponential, and power law curves to synchrotron data to optimize pre-experimentation calculation time.

I am also a member of the Arabic Language Flagship: a government initiative created to produce graduates with professional-level proficiency in Arabic through intensive instruction and cultural immersion. I am currently at the intermediate level.

After graduation, I intend to pursue a Ph.D. in Astrophysics.
